LGBT people should be able to adopt children because sexual orientation does not change their ability to be good parents. The reason for this stance is that LGBT people always make the decision to have children when they decide to adopt one, while many straight couples stumble into parenthood by accident and not pure commitment. If we are committed to giving equal rights to everyone in society, then we should recognize these kinds of restrictions should be lifted to guarantee equality in every community.
