Gun control is a huge fight. If you watch the news most likely you will see someone with no knowledge of guns ranting about how guns kill people. It is important to have laws that prevent guns from being in the wrong hands. It is also important to keep guns in the right hands. I will be talking about how we can prevent shootings and how we can infer people about guns. Guns are a huge part of American freedom. Lots of countries have taken away guns from their citizens. If America bans guns then they are only taking guns from the good people. Even if you ban guns they will still find a way into the country. One of the biggest fights on gun control is if citizens should be allowed to have AR's. AR stands for Armalite Rifle. It does not stand for assault rifle and fifteen does not stand for how many rounds a second it fires. People use an AR-15 for many different things. It can be used for hunting, self-defence, or just for target practice. ARs are a huge fight in America because it has been used in a lot of mass shootings. Mass shootings are tragic but we can't blame the gun. It is the people that use the gun for harm. An AR has a lot of attachments and modifications. In the recent las vegas shooting the shooter had an AR-15 with a bump stock that made the AR almost fully automatic. This will keep it out of the wrong hands but still let people have it. Another thing that could happen is to permit the number of rounds bought at a certain time. Most shooters had stocked up on tons of ammo. This will limit the number of shots attackers will have and fewer casualties.
