Gun control has been a huge debate in the last years, Numerous shootings at schools, or even to somebody else. “The Second Amendment guarantees every responsible law-abiding adult the right to own guns for defense for self, home and family”. I believe that firearms should only be on the responsible person with a permit to only use the gun for self defense or hunting. This law should be more restrict because more and more people every day get harmed in situations with a firearm. There are more laws passing about control of guns, In 1994-2004, a new law banned many assault rifles and high capacity magazines because of how people use them for the wrong reason and basically using them to assault people also, mainly women. Clearly, violence will still be continuous until control is set on guns. “People pull the trigger- but guns are the main instrument of death”. This means the person kills, not the gun, I disagree because they used the gun to harm someone, the gun harmed them, not the person. The law says that you are allowed to have one firearm in the household. Myths are stating when you hold a gun to a criminal that it endangers you more than the criminal, i believe that is true because you're putting yourself in danger as the criminal can do the same thing and kill you. Criminals are idiotic, insane and furious over numerous reasons and they are angry and in their mind the only way to take the anger out is to harm someone and that’s the biggest reason why there is many murders happening. In recent events involving murders, for an example, The facebook killer, he wanted to kill someone just because he wanted to, he shot a elderly man walking down the street for no reason, but only his ex-girlfriend that made him furious so he went insane. That’s the reason why we should have more control and the gun in his hands should have never went into the wrong hands like him. People who are capable can have a firearm but should have a permit and a background check, just to make sure they are
