To whom it may concern, I am writing in regards to our highschool board about our field trip to Hawaii. Our school should let us go on a field trip to Hawaii because not only will it be a fun experience, it will be educational too.
First, going on a field trip to Hawaii would be an open experience for a lot of students, considering Hawaii has public beaches, we as a class would be able to enjoy the sunny tropical weather, and have privacy considering half of the population on Hawaii is on the center of the land. (Source 3) My second reason, if the school board approved this field trip, Hawaii has amazing tropical weather. There will be something for everyone. Hawaii is a popular place to visit, meaning there will be many tourist sites that we as a class could study on. We would somewhat be a primary source regarding Hawaii. Another positive remark if we were to visit Hawaii is we would be able to study its rich history and get an incite view about it. We would also get to put pictures from Hawaii on the school board, which in the possible future the school could get more funds to have more field trips like Hawaii. (Source 4) Now for the cons, the expenses. Traveling to Hawaii would be very expensive and would take some time to raise enough money for it. Another con would be active volcanoes. Hawaii is known for its active volcanoes, which means taking our class to Hawaii could be potentially dangerous, but that doesn’t mean it is 100% dangerous. Lastly, Hawaii is overfilled with tourists meaning it would take the class time to get an incite about Hawaii’s educational sites. (Source
