Americans are facing yet another problem and that is immigration reform . The issue is the fate of the economy.
Part I of the Immigration Reform “Creating a Path to citizenship for unauthorized immigrants...” should be kept as is. The first strategy for immigration reform is a preventive one which this reform does well at. We should monitor and continue monitoring our country and keeping a close eye on our borders. This increases the security of our nation; and controlling our nations borders is key to not allowing unauthorized immigrants in the country. Also this part of the reform will also allow the general population of unauthorized immigrants that are already here to hold a green card and weeding out those that will not contribute to the well being of the United States or those who overstay their visas. “Improving our legal immigration...” should include immigrants with a Masters in Business and to include Immigrants that are highly educated. Those who wish to move to an area where employment is low, and serve two years where their expertise is needed or where they are playing a vital role will allow them to be moved up in line for green card status, allowing no misconduct on their record. An additional inncentive would be that the government would waive any legal fees for immigration for them and their families. Part IV Should be ameneded to put the burden of immigration on the employer. If they can not find an American to fill the job and they need to outsource to an immigrant then put the burden of a green card on the company that hires them. All fees and green card status falls on the Company that hires the immigrant. The information that these experts or immigrant in vital roles could provide would be influental to any company, district or state in the country with low income and this why Part II and Part IV should be
