Immigration is an ever-growing melting pot of issues. In America we are currently facing one of the largest problems for our time. The migration of people from other countries wanting to start a better life coming in a time where we need to be more cautious of those passing through the borders. In the current political world, immigration is view as a horrible thing. Presidential candidate Donald Trump, despite his view on it was able to bring the topic in to light. Thus making it a household topic even more. Trump made it clear that something needed to be done about immigration. Despite his attitude towards the topic, he presents a valid point. We don’t have any control of who comes and goes illegally from America. There are proper channels that people can take to migrate legally to the United States, but most don’t seem to want to wait as long. At the end of the day we know that the majority of people that do cross the borders do so for a chance at a better life. We are currently looking at a problem that grows more and more each day. Millions of people coming into America are coming through dangerous methods such as desert crossings, hot shipping containers, and even through cargo planes that are not meant for humans to be in.

When coming to American, there are a lot of challenges that one has to go through just to survive. In current times with politicians, they refer to immigrants, as “bad people” which in turns makes it seem that they come to do wrong in American almost like a bad stigma. There are many language barriers that prevent them from communicating with others. Health care is a big problem with new arrivals, many of them are working poorly paying labor and that makes it hard to afford the essentials.
