However, the invasion led to some decent events somehow. For instance, the aftermath of the invasion ended the ban on Iraq, in which other companies/countries had an opportunity to start a business in Iraq. In which the number of private businesses in Iraq increased from 8,000 in 2003 to 35,000 in 2006 following the liberalization of the economy. Thus, a dramatic increase in gross of the national goods was revealed due to the cutoff of economic sanctions and investment for the reconstruction.
Another advantage of Saddam's end was that the Iraqis gained freedom of expression. As well as, Iraq launched connections to the world through the Internet, cell phones, and satellite TV. In addition, democracy was slowly being established in Iraq. In which Iraq could be served as an example of democratic transition for other nations in the Middle East.

However, in a three-hour interview with CBS News, with an effort to prevent the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, personally, offered to debate the US President Bush on a live TV discussion, saying; “I am ready to conduct a direct dialogue – a debate – with your president, I will say what I want and he (Bush) will say what he wants.” In response, the White House said the offer was not a serious one, saying; “This is something proposed in earnest out of my respect for the people of the United States and the people of Iraq and the people of the world. I call for this because war is not a joke.” Therefore, the accurate reply to this situation is to that the US and UK governments created such a horrific human tragedy for no reason at
