The recreational use of marijuana also known as, proposition 64, has been legalized in the state of California for all residents. This law has been in the makings for many years and with votes it has become an amendment. This proposition allows recreational use of marijuana to any resident 21 or older in the state. Many people/voters that have helped pass this law in hope to have a positive effect on the state. Some are hoping it brings money to the state. The people also hope to cultivate the plant around the state. In addition, they want to open more dispensaries as well as some areas where people can smoke. The different job opportunities this law is going to open. On the other hand, we have people who voted against this and did not want marijuana legal. For example, more construction job, when having to build the dispensaries or factories where the plants are cultivated. Following these they will need workers in the different dispensaries as well as the factories.For instance line in a packing house for fruits you have workers in different stations. In the cultivating you will need someone to water, grow and put the correct light bulb to grow the plants. As well as you will need workers to trim the plants or cut the marijuana plants, when they are fully grown. Also, other workers have to weigh and package the marijuana. The most important is the transportation of the marijuana to all the dispensaries soon to be built. There are also many other different jobs like making the marijuana oils, wax etc. In addition, all the goodies: cookies candies, cakes, ice-creams, and the list continues.
