Marijuana is a substance that has been extensively used for a variety of things over human time. Due to various levels of government, there has been a huge debate on whether to legalize marijuana for medical use. There is a story of a little girl by the name of Charlotte Figi, who is 6 years old and suffers from an untreatable form of epilepsy (seizures). By the time she was two years old, her parents literally tried all forms of medication, some which nearly ended in her departure. Suffering nearly 50 seizures a night, her parents managed get her a medical marijuana card. After her first dose of high CBD, also known as Cannabidiol oil, her seizures immediately stopped. Since then, numerous states within the country have made attempts to legalize marijuana. Even though, Marijuana today is being used for medical use and recreational use, it still being considered as a Schedule I substance under the Controlled Substances Act by the federal government classifying marijuana as having a high potential for violence, no medical use and not safe to use without medical supervision; which means that whoever is caught selling in a state where the plant is not legal, will endure some serious jail time.
