Stars come and go in the NBA but the name that most people remember is Michael Jordan or also known as MJ. MJ is known as probably the best basketball player to ever live that is until Lebron James. The argument of who is the better of the two has been going on for a long time and I’m going to give you some details on both of these NBA stars and then give you my opinion on who I think is the better basketball player of the two.
To start off with Michael Jordan came into the league with an NCAA Championship that he achieved a couple of years before with the North Carolina Tarheels. MJ was selected third in the NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls in 1984. MJ didn’t win an NBA ring until 1991 and then won the next two years after that but he then retired for a year to try playing in the MLB, but came back in 1995 and won the next three NBA championships. When MJ played he had 6 other future Hall of Famers playing with him. Without Jordan the Bulls went 55-27 in the regular season which is still pretty good. Jordan is ranked 4th on the NBA

The year before Lebron came back to the Cavs, their record was 33-49 and the first year he came back they were 53-29 and so unlike the Bulls, Lebron has carried his team. Lebron has been to the past 6 NBA Finals and has won 3 of them. Lebron was the youngest player to reach 25,000 career points and is the only front-court player in league history reach over 7,000 career assists. He is also currently number 8 on the all time leading scoring list and is still moving his way up at only the age of 32 and by my calculations he has about 8 years left in his career at least unless he wants to have a chance to play with his son then it would be 10 years. Lebron is probably the most dominant player to play the game of basketball in my opinion and in millions of others
