NASCAR obtains many promotional and branding opportunities. Their brand is a high-quality brand that has many customers and sponsors. The opportunities that NASCAR receives includes global races and regional races. The main issue that arises for global races is the fact that most drivers do not want to add more races to their schedule. As a marketing director for NASCAR, the company should at least have one or two races overseas to gain more customers. Also, global races could allow NASCAR to sell and promote more of their apparel. NASCAR could boost their ticket sales by offering local drivers to race in their global races. Also, NASCAR could create a regional race circuit that travels the nation. The local races would be for amateur drivers. These drivers would have to pay a fee for every race just as they do in NASCAR. Also, the regional races should help in cities where racing is popular, and the tracks are convenient for customers to come too. If the NASCAR Pit Series races were held far away from major cities, chances are race fans will not make the drive to the races. If the races were held closer to major cities, their ticket sales would double. Also, the NACAR Pit Series should reach out to all of NASCARS current sponsors as well local sponsors. Local sponsors would more than likely take advantage of the opportunity to sponsor a regional race because their customers live in the same city as the race.
