Listening to the news today can be difficult in todays world. From Terrorist attacks, mass shootings, and many unknown that don’t go reported. What if the threats escalated? Today 60 years after the only two atomic bombs used in warfare were dropped. The world seems to be anxious about nuclear weapons being used again. After recent reports warn thermonuclear war could break out at any moment. We have to ask ourselves, is North Korea a real threat? Over the years we haven’t heard much about nuclear power, until now. When scientists first discovered nuclear energy it was used to make weapons. These weapons are explosive devices that can cause mass destruction the effects of nuclear explosions produce immediate and delayed effects they create blasts, thermal radiation, and prompt ionizing radiation causing destruction in seconds or minutes of detonation. What does this mean? North Korea will continue to work on developing nuclear warfare, and missiles to use when they feel necessary.
