Paintball is a fun adrenaline rushing sport/hobby like airsoft. Paintball & airsoft share many similarities, such as strategy, teamwork. Paintball does not have as much customizability as airsoft does which some people may find a con. There are different types of styles of guns. You can get semi-automatic, Electric, or pump.
In paintball some people think that getting hit hurts and others say you can barely feel a thing. If you end up buying a paintball gun they can range anywhere from $50-$1700 dollars. It can be as simple as gathering a few friends and playing in your backyard or on someone's land (with their permission of course!)or going to an airsoft playing field. There are many different Airsoft/ Paintball playing fields around the U.S and the World, but I’m going to cover only playing fields in the U.S.A.. Most playing fields are pay to enter and have strict rules when it comes down to it. Most rules in playing fields are If you’re under 18 years of age, you have to wear a full face mask, and if you get hit you have to call your hits and go back to spawn, and in probably all playing fields there is a 400 Feet Per Second (FPS) limit, which means they will test fire your gun through a chronometer which tracks the FPS of your gun and if it’s over 400 FPS you can’t use that gun. Now probably some of the most reliable playing fields are some that Airsoft GI run, which are HUGE events!! To be in one of these “events” you have to go to their website(http://www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPath=743_478) or walk in stores in TX, CA, and VA to purchase one of theses.
