This is a song that climbed all the way to number 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 summer of 1988 and yet Hollywood seems completely not interested in it. It has somehow never been used as a soundtrack of any rock ‘n’ roll movie that I know of ever since its release. I think this track has been unfairly snubbed by many movie personnel at the expense of other less appealing soundtracks. Maybe they have their own unique tastes or perhaps they have simply never heard it. It is only Robert Jones that has demonstrated his appreciation for this classic rock masterpiece recently through his super awesome video mash up featuring 75 movie bands performing it. And it is certainly amazing and better than a good number of Hollywood’s classic rock themed movies I have ever seen.
