The famous Russian-Soviet rocket scientist Konstantin Tsiolkovsky once exclaimed, “The Earth is the cradle of humanity, but mankind, just like a child, cannot stay in a cradle forever.” This quote shows that mankind, just like a baby, is born into a loving and caring home, and lives in a crib for a while. But as it grows and develops, its leaves its crib and must find a new home. Similarly, as society is developing, humans must leave behind their “crib” that they call Earth and move on. The only way to do this is to abandon the Earth, and leave to travel. Although others may disagree that space exploration is a waste of funding, it is evident that society and the government must fund space exploration because the future of mankind is dependent …show more content…

Examinations of the astronaut’s physical, and mental, and emotional reactions can teach humankind more about the differences between normal and abnormal, about the causes span. and effects of disorientation, about changes in metabolism which could result in extending the life span.” As this text conveys, society must continue to understand what space does to the human body to help advance in the medical field. Humans will be able to see how different environments affect them differently, and it will let them figure out how to differentiate between the norm and genetic disorders. It will help society advance and find a way to cure several new sicknesses on Earth, since humans will have a newer understanding of what space exploration does to the body.
