The United States and many other countries are fortunate enough not to be in the path of destruction. Although countries have their issues they are not in the midst of death knocking at their front door. For the past few years Syria has been right in the path of destruction, there has been a civil war going on since 2011 and it is not ending soon. As the Syrian civil war continues more and more are affected, harmed, and even found dead. As said before many countries are doing just fine so it becomes alarming when you realize how many countries are helping these Syrians. If you cannot contribute anything to them, you are only taking up space and they do not want you. Many of these refugees seek hope in countries like the United States, Canada, and Germany but many have lost that hope.
