It’s About to Get “Syrias” Unfortunately, seeing a man chant the word “الله (Allah)” is enough for some people to assume terrorist plots are underway, yet the followers of the Muslim religion are running from this violent concern of terrorism as well. Syrian refugees flee from a civil war that occurs in their home country. The Syrian Civil War started with anti-government protests, yet grew into one of the largest push factors known to the human race. An ugly battle is being fought, forcing helpless people out of the country. For fear of this war, Syrian refugees come to the U.S., and should be allowed into the United States of America as they are vetted intensely prior to entry. ISIS, or the Islamic State in Syria, is a main terrorist organization that many people in the United States fear. When a person brings up the topic of this deadly affiliation, many, if not all, people around the world are frightened. Although some say that allowing the arrival of refugees can lead to terrorism, it is important to consider that even the people of ISIS, an infamous radical group, say that the Syrian refugees go against their objective. In a video that ISIS has conducted, they state that “Syrian Muslim refugees are traitors to the radical Islamic cause”, and they go as far to say that “It is correct for Muslims to leave the lands of the infidel [or the lands without Islamic influence] for the lands of Islam, but not vice versa”. The goal of ISIS is to “fix” the world, by creating a homogeneous region from the world, in respect to the Islamic religion. They achieve this in brutal ways, and even execute their goal on native Muslims. They see the action Syrians fleeing as opposing to what the goal is. And as the goal of ISIS is the spread their “idea” through terrorism, the Syrian refugees are conflicting with terrorist activity. In conclusion, Syrian refugees should be allowed into the United States of America, as they are sent through a thorough screening process, and even terrorists claim that these fleeing refugees are against the violent
