Bottled water. When this word strikes you, you might think of a nice, refreshing drink. However if you only knew it’s history, you would discover that it’s a killer. Tap water is the only conclusion. a Not only would it be better to switch to tap water for the environment, at some times tap water can even be better for you. Plus, money that can save people's lives, are wasted on the assassin that are hidden in plain sight, bottled water. Bottled water is bad for the environment. Each year, 64 million plastic bottles are thrown away without being recycled. Each taking up to 1000 years to decompose. That’s a millennium of plastic being decomposed. A millennium that bottled water has already taken away from us. To add to the fact, when the plastic decomposes it’s killing animals and plants from their toxic materials.
