Texting while driving is one of the most discussed topics nowadays. It is the act of sending, reading messages, emailing or similar activities of the web while operating a motor vehicle. Many drivers have formed a habit of using their cell phones while driving their cars, which negatively affects our lives. Traffic accidents are inexcusable waste of money, property and life. Serious and clear laws on texting while driving should be enforced to reduce the number of accidents, to avoid paying money and to prevent chaos. Car accidents can increase the death rate and motor vehicle-related injuries; therefore imposing laws will improve safety. Texting while driving in Saudi Arabia is the main cause of 78 percent of road accidents.
