United States in contrast with other countries don’t allow to tobacco companies to advertise their products. It is true that there is a large cycle of tobacco companies in United States. But tobacco companies can’t promote their product on media and may be it effects tobacco companies’ output. Not only in United States, but there are many other countries, who don’t concentrate on bigger advertisement for the tobacco companies. The reason why tobacco companies are not allowed to advertise is that tobacco is harmful for health and causes lung cancer. In some countries tobacco is not allowed to sell underage people but only adults.
