A trembling hand grasps the bottle by the neck… The liquid inside has a priceless effect on its consumers; it causes them to forget about the troubles of everyday life and the stress that crashes over them day and night. But what many have also forgotten is how drinking is a serious problem and there are many consequences that come with just one bottle. This shows that adults who drink have a huge influence on teens. In addition, underage drinking also negatively impacts a teen's still developing brain (Pasturel, paragraph 3). This illustrates how drinking impacts these innocent children and how it slowly tears their brains to shreds. For example, there are about 17 different countries that have prohibited the use of alcohol. This shows how the US is fearful of banning alcohol due to the fact that citizens may rebel.
