Is it really Social Media’s fault that kids are doing dangerous stunts and challenges? Kids are posting dangerous challenges on social media sites but it isn’t social media’s responsibility to make sure that they don’t. YouTube says that they delete challenges or videos that are illegal or could kill someone. Kids are filming themselves doing dangerous stunts to get famous, and many kids are getting hurt in the process. Some people think that social media sites like YouTube are to blame. Others think that it isn’t social media’s fault and that we shouldn’t blame them. It isn’t YouTube’s fault that kids are doing these dangerous stunts and challenges. YouTube says that they draw the line at certain things that are illegal or could kill you. It is not YouTube’s and social media’s fault for kids posting these kinds of things on social media. According to YouTube Made Me Do It, it says,“YouTube’s Community Guidelines says YouTube draws the line at content that intends to ... encourage dangerous or illegal activities.” If Youtube get’s rid of content like that then it isn’t their fault because they try to get kids to not to do these dangerous activities. Is it really YouTubes fault for dangerous challenge videos being on YouTube or is it ours.
