I believe that the driving age should be older. Getting a driver's license at such young age as 16, may take a very long time to be completed; when you’re older, it doesn’t take as long as it would if you were 16, you’re already considered a adult. Older drivers are not permitted to nighttime driving restrictions or passenger restrictions while driving. Older drivers do not have to “jump through hoops” when trying to get their driving license.

When you’re 16, you are not considered a adult yet, so getting a driver’s license may take a very long time to be completed. But when you are 18, you’re already considered a adult and it won’t take as long to get a driver's license. “At 18, teenagers can, in many cases, get their licenses in a matter of weeks.” (Aubrey, 256) When you’re a older driver, you get your driving license faster than if you were 16.
