In life you will always come across positive and negative situations, but in the end it is up to you to make the right decisions. For example some parents do not know whether or not they should allow their children to participate in sports or afterschool activities. We should allow them to be apart of these sports or after school activities.
Because they help them to be positive in life, keeps them from doing the wrong things. They help them to develop, and teach them how to work well with others and understand people’s personalities. These centers are provided for the working parents to ensure their child’s safety. There are many other types of activity centers that children can attend. These facilities are well supervised by adults, who are trained to meet the benefits of all children who participate. These centers are designed to entertain children of all ages, disabilities, and lower-income children. Most of these facilities are open till six o’clock at night. At these centers the staff interacts with the children by playing games, doing arts and crafts, and helping them with their homework. Daycare centers, often called private facilities, they provide supervision, recreation and often medical services for children of preschool aged. Some public facilities are safekey programs and recreation centers. These centers are provided for the working parents to ensure their child’s safety. The staff supplies the children with snacks, play games, etcetera, and also helps with their homework if needed. The children who attend these public facilities are school-aged children, K-6th grade. These programs are usually open until six o’clock or later. Safekey programs run before school and afterschool. This program is recreational based, and is also equipped to the needs of the participant’s parents’ and there busy work …show more content…

They may also have family problems, and peer issues. In order to attend this program you have to pay for it, whether it’s a one time fee, a daily, weekly or monthly rate. Having to pay for these activities can is sometimes hard for families especially when they are low-income families, or their parents do not have the time to take them to and from practice and games. Some might come from single family homes
