Why are Girls being Labelized? Do you think that girls or boys face more societal pressure or is it equal? Why are teenagers always getting pressured into doing matters that they do not want to do? Girls will regularly get shamed for not meeting up to the expectations of the social media world. Girls face greater societal pressure than boys because they are expected to look, act, and be a certain way. First of all, girls will see lovely models on Instagram, TikTok, and even TV shows, which can persuade them to look and act just like those that they see. From a young age, girls are faced with images of what they should look like, from the clothes they wear to the way they would style their personal hair. This pressure to look pretty can harm someone's self-esteem, as they may feel like they are not measuring up to what society wants.
