I currently play football for our high school, playing center, which is on the offensive line, a position that contains a lot of contacts. I haven’t played for a longest time, however; for our midget football league, children can start playing at the age of 4-6 years old. As stated before the offensive line is a group of positions that entail a lot of contacts, especially to the head.

If this sport is this dangerous at the level for grown men then it must be dangerous for children to play. If men can get hurt playing the game of football then a child certainly can get hurt playing this game as well.
Recently I witnessed on social media a video of a children’s soccer game but a key object was missing, the ball. It was pitiful and the reasoning for it was it made sure every kid go to experience to score or have the quote-unquote ball to make them all feel important. In sports, there is supposed to be winners and losers and they're giving out participation awards to everyone and even the kids that worked hard get the same thing as the kids that were forced to play and this takes the drive to work hard out of the game. Not all girls at Rabun County Middle School like the sports that we are provided, basketball, cross-country, softball, etc, or they can’t make the team because they are judged depending on their shape, size or social economics. Those girls have to leave Rabun County Middle School for expensive private schools just for the sports they love. Girls at Rabun County Schools should have a middle school volleyball team. This sport is an affordable and a family friendly sport. It is easy to learn.
