Women Should Register for the Draft "Today, every American can be proud that our military will grow even stronger with our mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters playing a greater role in protecting this country we love." –President Barack Obama. In the past women were only allowed to serve as spies, cooks and nurses in the military. Today with the help of many acts allowing the role of women in the military to increase, females are allowed in any combat roles. Since women can serve in any areas of the military force, they have proven women's ability to suffer the intensity of the war and in battle. Therefore, if women are given the same positions as a man in combat, they should have to register for the draft. This new position would not only affect those who have the desire to join the military, but also women that do not have the ability or passion to serve in battle for our Country. Recently, many women consider the feminist movement a accomplishment which persuades their rights to be increased. It is important for women to have the right to take care and protect themselves without mans protection. However, the feminist movement will not stop until women and men are equal in every aspect of life.
