“Rich people should be forced to live a life of poverty at least once a year.”

Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience that “Rich people should be forced to live a life of poverty at least once a year.”

Thesis: Rich people should be forced to live a life of poverty so they will appreciate the value of money and to lessen their selfishness.

Introduction:
I. Nick Cannon wore the world’s most expensive pair of shoes on the finale of America’s Got Talent.
II. They were Tom Ford slip-ons encrusted with 14,00 full-cut round white diamonds set onto white gold, totaling 340 carats.
III. The maker of the shoes was Jason Arasheben, who is the founder of Jason of Beverly Hills.
