Imagine yourself in this scenario. It’s a warm day, the birds are singing, mom is inside cooking dinner, and you’re playing outside with friends, laughing and having the time of your life when all of sudden you hear a big crash. Everybody freezes, and you’re looking at each other, faces full of question. You’re about to go inside when suddenly your mom comes running out of the house, tears streaming down her cheeks, holding your little dead brother in her trembling arms. A civil war has broke out. A big problem we have in this country is immigration. Crossing the border without proper authorization grown worse and have brought problems that we face even to this day. Many of them are people just like us who just want to escape the harsh life back home and rebuild a new in a safer country that will benefit them. Religious persecution, political instability, poverty, is this where we want to spend the rest of our lives in? Would we want our children to grow into to this harsh world and never get to experience what other kids have? One thing we have to remember is that illegal immigrants are people too. While it’s true that many have caused problems, it's not right to generalize a whole group of people. They also bring many different cultures with them that we’re not familiar with. Bobei notes in of her article that,“ One of the benefit of immigration is that they increase the product diversity”. Immigration might be a problem to others but we have to think about what these people are contributing to the country and why they’re here. Many of these people have a huge amount of fear when they’re coming here because this isn't like the home they’re used to. Language barrier, cultural differences and etc. It's up to us to smile and make them comfortable because we have no idea what they’re going through. They’re just people like us who want a happier ending and a bright
