You Guys have all heard of The Golden State warriors right? Cleveland Cavaliers? Boston Celtics? Houston Rockets? I’m sure you know at least one of these amazing teams in the NBA. But what if I told you that none of these teams are actually the best in the NBA? Would you believe me? After this speech I think you will. These are the reasons that the Toronto Raptors could possibly win the championship this year and are one of the best teams in the league. The first one is statistics and rankings, the second is the opinion of others

The Toronto Raptors have quietly been sneaking up on the other teams. They have gone from a team who almost everyone thinking they had no chance to being the third team in the entire league, and number one in the east. They're stats and rankings this year have been phenomenal. And that is my first reason why the Raptors are ones of the best teams in the league. They are averaging a +7.8 point differential for the entire season, which is the second highest in the entire league, higher than even last years champions, The Golden State Warriors. They have also improved exponentially in the stat since last year. It has gone up by +3.9 since last year, from 3.1 last year to this year’s +7.8 point differential average. The raptors came out as 4th in the league in offense, and 3rd in the league in defense. The Golden State Warriors are the only other team to be ranked top 5 in both categories. Another source that says the raptors are one of the best teams in the NBA is ESPN. Throughout almost this entire year ESPN has ranked the Raptors a top 5 team.
