“I will never cut a player who comes out to play for me, but when you put that uniform on, that Titan uniform, you better come to work.” These are the words of Coach Boone, who is known as the main character throughout the movie: Remember the Titans. In the movie, there are two schools in Virginia that are trying to form a high school, and the head coach of the football team is an African American man. Tensions arise when players of different races are joined together on the same football team, but after Coach Boone delivers his motivational speech about coming together as a team and striving to be the best, the team will become closer than ever.
