Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the speech of his opinion about the United States of America being involved in the Vietnam War at Riverside Church in New York City on April 4, 1967. He thought it was unjust to get involved in the war. King used some persuasive techniques, which supported his argument and well delivered, in his speech, such as repetition of certain phrases, critizing the situation, and talking about his experience he had with other people in America. With the persuasive elements, he successfully delivered his speech to the audience and persuaded them that America should not be involved in the Vietnam War.
