One difference, The penguins tried to fight the humans when they were picking them up to clean the oil off them. For instance, On page 17 it says, “All across the beach, dozens of people are capturing penguins, enduring excruciating bites and wing flaps as they load terrified birds into crates.” This example’s show these are connected because humans don’t stop working to get them into crates even after they have been slapping the humans with their wings and biting them with there very powerful beaks. To contrast, One difference, People volunteer to knit sweaters for the penguins so they don’t get cold. For instance, On page 19 it says, “Over the past 15 years, workers on Phillip Island have put the sweater donations to good use, helping save more than 1,000 little penguins.” These are connected because the author is talking about sweaters and what they help for the penguins in both details. Therefore, both of these stories are having a person vs nature but the stories resolve their conflicts a little differently. The 1st story resolves it by cleaning them and putting them in a sanctuary and the 2nd story is resolved by volunteers making sweaters for the penguins after they are cleaned so they aren’t cold.
Therefore, “The amazing penguin rescue” and “The seabird chronicles” have similarities and differences.
