My volunteer experiences and school involvement provided me with the tools that I need to help me reach my ultimate goal of becoming a pharmacist. First of all, I am a volunteer note taker at Florida Atlantic University. Being a note taker has allow me to improve and develop my listening and writing skills which I will need for pharmacy school. Having an acute ability to listen allow me to better able to focus on the professor lecturing. This will allow me to grasp what the professor is saying to better understand the concept he or she is teaching. In addition, having good and clear writing skills will provide me with a great note to review for my exams. C.S.I stand for the Council for Scholarship and Inquire, and it prompt research. Being part of this club gives me the opportunity to prompt something that I like which is research. One of the reasons why I want to be a pharmacist is because I am intrigue by the pharmaceutical research. Therefore, being involve with the C.S.I club made me aware of the different types of research that are currently being done. More specifically, it teaches me about the different research that are currently being explored by students or facility in the pharmaceutical.
