I chose Pharmacy Tech because my life involves around medication and my family. So as I was growing up, I always helped my family which are my number 1 priority. When I was in first grade at the age of six years old, I tend to get sick a lot of times. So when I did get sick my aunt will go buy me some OTC children’s ibuprofen for my fever’s, then I will read the directions on how to take it, and read the package insert that involves the warning on what not to take with the medication, and side effects of the medication.I always wanted to become a Pharmacy Tech when I was little to fulfill my dreams. Pharmacy Tech is the reason why human beings stay healthy by dispensing the medication and making sure medication on time. The career of an Pharmacy Technician works underneath a licensed Pharmacist in many different practice setting such as Long-term care facilities , Hospitals, Community and Retail Pharmacies. If there is 1 Pharmacist in a pharmacy you can only have three Pharmacy Tech in there helping. If it was 2 Pharmacist you can have six Pharmacy Tech in the Pharmacy, this goes for drug stores. I found this out by asking Pharmacist about how many Tech can work with the them. To gain a Compounding Certification Course”Participants must complete eleven separate modules of home-based learning, comprised of a reading assignment and comprehensive exam; as (ACPE) said”. You must do all home study modules by yourself. Have to do labs; as an example include making Lip balm, Solutions, Suspension, Suppositories, Tablet triturates, and Coloring and Flavoring as well. I never knew about this till, i really looked further into this
