A physical therapist is a great career to have in the medical field. I have always dreamt to become one ever since one of my uncles became a physical therapist. When I interviewed my Uncle Sam, and he said, “Physical therapy is a competitive job especially when it comes down to getting into schools”. I would need to have a lot of confidence, pass my classes, and shake lots of hands to get me further in the program when I’m in physical therapy school. He then continued to explain to me what I needed to do to achieve my career as a physical therapist. Taking the right courses in college is a must. Knowing that I want to do something in the medical field, I should take science classes. Chemistry, all levels of biology, physics psychology anatomy and physiology are all types of classes I need to take to pursue my career goal.psycology would be one of my heavily needed soft skills. There is An exam called the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is an exam that I take basically during my last year of my undergraduate years to get my degree. It’s a multiple choice exam, thank God because I hate short answer exams, The necessary score needed for my physical therapy program will vary depending on the school I want to go to, but the school ranges from 130-170 for Verbal and Quantitative reasoning and 0 to 6 Analytical writing, which is not recommended at some programs. I can sign up for the test using an education testing service website or through Morningside. A fear of not making the score is always in my head, but for the GRE if I don’t make scores first time around, I can take preparatory classes that can help me increase my scores. Even if I haven’t picked a school yet, taking the GRE as early as possible can be a good thing because the earlier I take it, the more time I get to retake, so my scores can go high like I did with my ACT in high
