I know this is a very difficult time for you and your family. You have never been this sick before or in this much pain, and I know that it must be frightening to you. Unfortunately, we have used every medical technology available to treat your illness, and pain. The only available treatment opinion I can provide you is to try and make you as comfortable as possible with the medical technology that is currently available to you in this state. However, as you already know your pain will increase overtime. I know you mentioned joining Hollands, “physician-assisted suicide program”, but I want to make sure that you are aware that in the United States (U.S.) there are five states that offer this medical treatment. I would recommend seeking physician assisted suicide treatment in the U.S. instead of abroad, because you will be closer to your family. You are going through a physically and mentally challenging period in your life and having family support can help you mentally prepare for the treatment plan you are seeking. You are making a permanent life choice and I just want to make sure you are making an informed decision
