The job role I will be researching is a physiotherapist which falls into the sector of health.
Sector and Employer
The physiotherapist can work in the statutory health care sector, which is controlled and funded by the government. This sector is mostly supported by people who pay taxes and national insurance etc. Most health workers are employed by the NHS trusts. They will help with individual patients’ functioning needs and improves a broad range of physical problems associated with different systems of the body.

The role of a health worker is to support people to stay healthy and to treat them if they become ill- both physically or mentally. The Department of Health is responsible for the National Health Service, which concerns for most of the health matters in the United Kingdom. They provide people with support, care and are treated with respect and dignity. In addition they would ensure that peoples’ needs are met, through good quality care.
