(“A quote by George Gordon Byron.” ) People mistreat Pit Bulls and use them in illegal dog fights causing them to be aggressive. Most people think that since Pit Bulls have a strong, fierce appearance they are aggressive. One reason Pit Bulls are put out on the street is because some places have banned ownership of them. People who use Pit Bulls in these illegal dog fights torture and use them as bait. Seeing people be afraid of a Pit Bull is upsetting, they 're missing out on so much. There is no other breed that stirs up so much emotion. If you adopt a Pit Bull from a shelter and they are aggressive, then they were most likely abused or abandoned by their past owner.
