The crime scene in the case of the murder of JonBenét Ramsey was the home of the Ramsey family, with a home as large as the Ramsey’s the search for evidence took some time. The first notable mistake was the allowance of Ramsey family friends to enter the scene instead of clearing everyone from the crime scene as per common police protocol. Leading detective on the case Steve Thomas who wrote a book on the investigation and all other aspects of the case has been quoted as saying “Good police procedure would have been to empty the house immediately and take the inhabitants to the police station, post a patrol officer inside the front door, and allow entry only to authorized personnel. Drew Hayden Taylor writes, in his 1991 essay, about his life being a First Nations man but looking “Pretty like a white boy.” He writes about how he witnessed and heard so much racism towards First Nations people because people thought he was Caucasian. Taylor tells us all through out his essay that he is judged by both races for not “looking the part” of a First Nations man. At one point Taylor tells his readers about an especially embarrassing moment while visiting a trapper woman and her kids.

Cesar Chavez was a Mexican-American farm worker, his social and economical status was one of the worst in the U.S. society at the time, in contrast, he strived and succeeded in his goals, he reached sky high for his thirst of equality and rights for the minorities, nevertheless achieving this through peaceful, non-violent tactics, he fought for several causes and people, Chavez was a force to be reckoned with because he never gave up and he was never afraid of the consequences of his decisions because he knew what he was doing was right, and this mindset made all the difference when it came to sacrifice what you had for the wellness of others. Chavez had a difficult childhood, as many Mexican-American immigrants, he struggled with money problems during his childhood, Chavez was born March 1, 1927 in Yuma, Arizona. His family owned a grocery store and a ranch, but their land was lost during the Great
William James Bosket shot and killed Noel Perez on March 19, 1978 at the ripe age of 15. A week later he shot and killed yet another man, Moises Perez, in an attempted robbery and finally shot and killed a New York Transit employee in between the two previous murders. He was tried in New York’s family court and pled guilty, receiving the maximum sentence of five years in a youth facility. Because of this short sentence the Governor called in a special session of the state legislature and passed the Juvenile Offender Act of 1978. Children, as young as thirteen years old, could be tried as an adult for crimes such as murder.
American children once needed alarmed soldiers to escort them safely to the school house .Getting escorted to school by armed soldiers had to be a problem that the whites didn’t want them at their school. On September twenty-third in the late 1850’s African Americans entered Little Rock Central High School for the first time. Ignoring verbal abuse, threats from students and a crowd of whites that was standing outside of the school. The nine African Americans students started to tell their parents, even though there parents knew that them going to an all-white school was going to be a problem.
