The group discussions I had conducted with my group members with regard to the two ethical scenarios which are Meteors Strikes People Survival, and Plane Crash Equipment scenarios were two of the most educational, interesting, yet challenging discussions I have participated in recent educational experience. The group members were very interactive and engaging. One of the interesting things was I had rarely participated in virtual online group discussion. When I compare the two group discussions, the People Survival scenario was more engaging and even emotionally charged at times than the Plane Crash Equipment scenario. Perhaps such a higher engagement in discussing the people survival scenario was because we were dealing directly with people's lives, and it is not easy to determine the fate of one's existence or non-existence. I chose Adrienne, Caroline, Natasha, Dimitri, Rahim, and Jorge.(See Appendix A for detail). My rational for my selection was their background in survival skills, their health condition, their importance in bringing the group back to earth, and their relative capability to reproduce and repopulate the earth. I applied these criteria consistently from individual to individual to minimize bias as much as possible. The majority of group members also used the same criteria more or less. One of the most interesting debate was whether to pick Jorge to stay, or Max to stay. Both of them are relatively young. I firmly presented the rational for my choice that Max's survival chance is lower than that of Jorge, under primitive living conditions where there will be no medication which he relies on for his blood pressure. The environment will be full of dust which he is allergic to. Finally the group members were persuaded to allow Jorge to stay. (See Appendix B, for full
