“The Matrix” can be compared to the Plato’s allegory of the cave as they have similar phylosophical principals which can be associated with todays society however at the same time they adress multiple problems which can be analysed seperately to bring different conclusions. These two very famous ideas which are from totally different eras ,are the fundemetnal core of the todays world thinking. We are usually unaware of the connection with these theories on the daily basis, as they are very complex and not really utalized by an average person in real life situations. The entrance leads the light to a place where there are several prisoners tied up without any possibility to move however they are only allowed just stare straight ahead all day long onto a wall infront of them. The only entertainment they will have all day during thier whole time when they are tied up is a shadow-puppet show projected on the wall in front of them. Since the show is all they can experience ,they start to believe that the things presented infront of them everyday is the actual reality which they expect to be everywhere. However unntil one day, one of the prisoners manages to break free and he leaves the cave for the first time in his life. It takes him a while to adjust his eyes, but gradually as he starts to explore the new world he sees that there is beauty in the environement and the nature around him. He is so mesmorised by his that his feelings make him go back to his fellow prisoners, the freed prisoner goes back down and explains to everyone that they're all trapped in a massive cave, and that everything they think is real is an illusion. Everyone thinks that he is insane, they find his theory absurd and they dont really want to allow themselves to question their ‘reality’ they have a limited perception of the world which stops on the cave and doesn’t allow which makes them choose to live within a
