The Office Phone Call In my scene, The Office Phone Call, by Colin Jost and Bryan Tucker was from Saturday Night Live episode 777 or episode 11 in season 40. This play was about five people in a meeting after lunch. The head of the meeting, Natalie, is speaking when she is interrupted. The interrupter is Mandy’s character Doug. Doug loudly takes a phone call that expresses and emergency and a reason to leave. Doug tells the staff that he needs to leave when Natalie’s character tells him it’s okay to just us the bathroom. The other characters back her up. Arleh’s character and Brenna’s character say things like the emergencies only happening after lunch and how they only take eight to fifteen minutes. Doug then resents needing to go to the bathroom and

My character then speaks of the downsides of the biotech. As I am doing so Doug interrupts by walking around and being very finicky. Natalie’s character asks if Doug disagrees to which he says no. Then Arleh speaks of how pharmaceuticals are still bread and butter. Then Doug takes another phone call. In this one he expresses how Nanna fell down the stairs and needs to meet him at work in the fifth floor bathroom. He hangs up and says he just got a call to which Arleh says, “We know you got a phone call.” Doug then says his Nanna is sick. I say, “You said she fell down the stairs.”. Doug then says that she did and she is sick off falling down the stairs while getting in my face, I back off. Natalie tells Doug to just use the bathroom and he states that he does not need to use that bathroom. Brenna’s character points out that he is sweating. Doug is still denying and when he goes to sit down he craps his pants. Natalie asks and he denies craping his pants. Another character says, “Oh Doug…” and heartwarming music starts to play. This is when everybody except Natalie’s character helps Doug to get to the bathroom and give him tips. They say Nanna called then and she needs him in the bathroom and
