Being in high school, it is conventional for students to recite the pledge of allegiance every day, but, still many do not. They figure the fact that there are men and women that periled their lives for others. Many who do not support making the pledge mandatory are domineering. African Americans and the LGBT community have not always been treated fairly in the past. Barack Obama says, anyone who refused to stand while the pledge of allegiance is their constitutional right.
