The reason why I think Williams left out the view of the little girl is because he wanted us to make up our own story for her. The daughter was the main reason that the doctor came, so we don’t know how she felt from that right away. Also, we don’t know how she is feeling and thinking about throughout the story. When the doctor was prying the girl mouth open could’ve have been very interesting if we got the view from the girl.
