The author of the book schooled is Gordon Korman. He is a great author with more than 40 mid grade novels and his writing style is very comedic. To summarize his book, Capricorn Anderson (the main character) is a teenager who lives on Garland which is a farm. He was homeschooled by his grandma named Rain. Cap had to go to school because Rain broke her hip. People pranked Cap at school, but Cap didn't react to it. Then cap saved the school bus driver while he was having a heart attack. Cap received fame for saving the bus driver, but Zach, the school bully, didn’t care about it. Hugh, the school nerd, becomes Cap’s fake friend to avoid becoming the president and by becoming president it to be bullied. The point of view of the story shows almost everyone's point of view. It shows Cap, Naomi, Zack, Hugh, FK, DarryL, Sophia, Mr. Donneyl, POV. They give their thoughts of what's going on and of how people act to things.
