PLOT SUMMARY Vantage Point is a movie that has different viewpoints from each of the characters in the movie. It is a story about the attempted assassination of the US President while attending an anti-terrorism summit held in Spain. The first perspective was from the news casting team of GNN, where they were reporting the mayor’s speech and showing previous flashbacks from last year’s summit where the president was attempted to be shot by an individual in the crowd but luckily saved by agent Barnes, minutes after that the president’s double was shot twice by an unknown gun man and followed by a bomb explosion where many innocent citizens were killed. He then hands a bag to his girlfriend. Minutes after the president’s double was shot, he rushes to secure the mayor but was stopped by agent Barnes. A bombing took place. Barnes suspected that Enrique had something to do with the bombing so he comes after Enrique. Enrique reached the tunnel where he was shot by the officers. The fourth view point was from Howard Lewis, a tourist who was videotaping the summit. While he was amazed by the beauty of the city, he accidentally bumped to a child and cause the child’s icecream to fall of. He asks the child’s name, the child’s name was Ana. While recording the event, he noticed Barnes looking at a suspicious window. He then focuses his camera on the window and noticed a shadow like image of a man. After the president’s shooting Barnes hurriedly asked for the footage to review if Lewis had seen the shadow too. He saw the footage of Enrique’s girlfriend throwing a bag under the stage, seconds after the explosion has commenced. Barnes came after Enrique where Lewis filmed everything. Lewis followed them until he reached the overpass. He saw the little girl, Anna, again where Anna was to be hit by
