In class we was given the task to write a paper about problems we noticed about the world, and we had then had to take a position on if we agree or not. The problem I chose to write about Police brutality mainly with african american people.I strongly disagree with all of the incidents that have been going on, and how they tend to get pushed under the table as if it 's the norm. Which is A huge problem many communities have dealt with, and have put fear in multiple people around the world. Surprisingly nothing have been done to prevent, or decrease the amount of incidents involving police and people who was weapon free, and clearly not a threat to others. So what exactly is Police brutality? The website, lawdictionary says police brutality is the use of excessive and/or unnecessary force by police when dealing with civilians.
En.wikipedia states that The term "police brutality" was in use in the American press as early as 1872, when the Chicago Tribune reported on the beating of a civilian under arrest at the Harrison Street Police Station. Since then we have had multiple incidents dealing with police brutality which usually ends the same way. We also need to continue to record the police, so we could use it as evidence, and they could be held accountable for their actions. Try our best to vote every politician that condones police brutality out . Lastly take legal action against police. Many officers are getting away with harming the wellbeing of others and it needs to come to an end. Police brutality is a thing that happen over the world and causes pain and sorrow to the community. It 's time for some of us to stand up and help put it to an end by doing those things listed
