A news report and subsequent criminal complaint from the United States Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas allege the licensee on or about 02-03-2015 in the county of Sebastian in the Western District of Arkansas, violated Title 18 USC 2422(a), an offense described as; Attempted Coercion or Enticement: 18USC2422(a): The defendant did engage in an online conversation with and undercover officer in which the defendant made arrangements to travel out of state for purposes of having sexual relations with a minor.

The Licensee was arrested in West Plains, MO. He was then held in the Sebastian County Jail in Ft. Smith, Arkansas under federal jurisdiction.

Donald Lamoureaux, DO. Dr. Lamoureaux was arrested in West Plains, MO for soliciting to have sexual relations with a 4 year old female child from Ft. Smith, AR. He is currently held in an Arkansas jail without bond. I notified Chief Investigator Ken Hammond and I was directed to initiate investigation into this case.

Interview of Ft. Smith, AR Police Sergeant Chris Harris
On 02-10-2015, I received a call from Sgt. Chris Harris of the Ft. Smith Police Department. Sgt. Harris is the supervisor of the officer in the Street Crimes Unit that chatted with Dr. Lamoureaux on the internet. He provided the following details to me:
This case is being handled through the United States Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas. The US Attorney is Connor Eldridge. Dustin Roberts, AUSA is involved in this case.
Federal charges are being sought because of the interstate activity that occurred in this matter. There is an additional 25 years enhancement of punishment for this crime under the federal system.
The Drug Enforcement Administration is looking to pull the controlled substance registration of Dr. Lamoureaux.
