It is easy today for someone to see the effects famous artworks have had: the toy clocks that look like they are melting and dripping off the table, the parodies of artworks on coffee mugs, and the artistic styles that still appear across the world. The culture in Northern America during the 1960’s and 1970’s was very controversial. There were several that were happy with it but several that were extremely unhappy with it. There were several causes for the protests that took place in the United States during the 1960’s and 1970’s. Allen Ginsberg was a prominent figure during the time of counterculture. Ginsberg lived from 1926-1997 and he was a very key individual in all these protests.

Some popular artists include Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo Da Vinci. I believe that all of these people were amazing artists, but Leonardo was the most significant artist of his time.
Disco Music during the 1970s Pop culture during the 1970s originated as a consequence of the historical context of the era. The official end of the Vietnam War, the Watergate scandal, and the Bicentennial of the United States all occurred during this decade. As a result, a variety of social groups such as women, gays and lesbians, as well as racial and ethnic minorities confronted the American conservative ideals that had governed American society since the end of World War II. Conservative white Americans reacted to the civil rights gains that took place in the 1960s and moved to the suburbs of the city, leading to city deterioration. Ultimately the decline of the city allowed for the creation of cultural spaces (disco clubs) that in turn challenged normative American social values.
The counterculture during the 60s influenced a lot of music. The music first started in the UK then eventually made it’s way to the US. Some of the major cities for this counterculture were London, New York City, and San Francisco.
Andy Warhol was a leading artist in the movement. Among his many painting are his CampBell 's soup cans and Heinz Ketchup bottle. He painted everyday object over and over again to prove America was a consumer Society (Gyure 1). Warhol’s subjects were everyday products and famous movie stars. Andy Warhol was an important individual in American Art, because he started a new movement in art called Pop Art.
I SrA Dofonso Fernando am writing this letter on behalf of my family and myself. I believe I would benefit from a humanitarian reassignment. I am applying for reassignment to Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada due to financial, emotional, and health circumstances. This reassignment would benefit the military and I as I could focus on my health and my family’s health, organize finances and have the ability to provide for my family if I was not geographically separated. The financial burden of maintaining a household in both Hawaii and Nevada, due to our physical separation at this time, is also a hardship on our marriage and ability to exist as a family.
Early 1960’s Music and Late 1960’s Music In the early 1960’s voices like Elvis Presley and Brenda Lee were common and highly liked by many. By the middle of the decade the music style began to develop diversity. Elvis began to fade and names like the Beatles began to come into focus.
As era’s have rolled over and civilisation has advanced, the popular culture demonstrated throughout society has also changed. When looking back today, these cultures are characterised by the most notable differences between decades in fashion, entertainment, architecture, technology, sport and more. For the 1950’s and 1960’s this meant post war recovery and a clash between communism and capitalism vs. a revolt against the social norms and the now known ‘hippy era’, a contrast that truly shows how much ten years can change the world. It seemed as though in the twenty year period that expanded both these decades, everyone began to take things a little less seriously, an effect that led current pop culture to where it is now. The most popular genres of music during the Sixties include; folk, country, jazz, pop, reggae, and rock, which were altered and upgraded to fit the constantly adapting music taste of those who listen. During the Sixties, lyrics began to tell a more realistic, eye-opening story, and provided emotional insight from the perspective of the song writter. Many bands in the Sixties wrote their own music, giving it unique, individual features and qualities. Newly developed characteristics and frequencies gained the interest of young listeners as their music taste changed and developed throughout the decade.

He is best known for the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa was a portrait of a woman that developed a meaning, people said it’s a symbol of the Renaissance information which came from this quote. “The Mona Lisa was originally this type of portrait, but over time its meaning has shifted and it has become an icon of the Renaissance perhaps the most recognized painting in the world.”
That is to say, not everyone can relate to a specific work of art on everything but there are always plenty more of them for they to appreciate and relate to themselves. Moreover, everything in this world is related to each other and art is one of them. Which proved the point that art is essential in building a successful country. The contributions of art are huge despite what people think of it.
